Brand positioning and identity 

Peter Harrison is a Suffolk based private chef with over 30 years’ experience of cooking in top restaurants. Providing customers with those restaurant qualities of an eye for detail, emphasis on flavour and provenance of produce, Peter is a talented but self-effacing chef who prefers to let his cooking do the talking – with food that's bold, simple and beautiful.

We designed an identity that quietly but confidently positions Peter apart from other private caterers. A simple roundel serves as a stamp of quality – highlighting Peter's pedigree as a professional chef and reinforcing his service as crafted and special. In contrast, a bold palette of colours reflects the gutsy flavours of his cooking, bringing life and vibrancy to the identity.

The roundel is also a key element of the packaging we designed for Peter's new pickle range. Used as a jar lid label, it underscores the pickles' unique point of difference – that of its provenance. (Click here to view Peter's Pickles.)
